This Thursday, 30th of October, will see the launch of a book on the history of the parish of Sixmilebridge.
The book, which is produced by Sixmilebridge Historical Society, is described as a “captivating collection of stories, photographs and memories celebrating the rich heritage of the village and its people.”

It will be launched at a reception in the school hall of St Finnachta’s National School on Thursday evening at 7pm.
