On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by ecologist Dr. Frances Giaquinto. Frances discussed the upcoming invasive species training which will be free for all residents of County Clare. The training is set to begin on Wednesday 19th of April and is funded by the Clare Local Development Company LEADER Plan. She described what invasive species are along with highlighting the damage that they can cause to the environment. She also made reference to the series of events, field trips and online webinar that will take place throughout the course of the training.
