Today is International FASD Awareness Day.
FASD, or Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders is recognised on the 9th day of the 9th month, to raise awareness about the lifelong effects of FASD, and to draw attention to the importance of going alcohol-free for the 9 months of pregnancy.
