On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Amanda Major, Ennis Fianna Fáil member to discuss a report stating the level of racism directed at black people in Ireland has increased over the past five years.
According to the ‘Being Black in the EU’ report, which was carried out by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights examined the experiences of more than 6,700 people of African descent living in 13 different EU countries and found that people of African descent in the EU “face ever more racism and discrimination”.
