What impact does moving Mass online have for the community?

Level 3 restrictions officially came into operation as of midnight last night. This means that religious services have now moved online, but that funerals and weddings can be attended by 25 people. This ultimately means that many elderly parishioners may be alienated as they struggle to use technology. For others, it means the loss of their main social outlet as it may be their only outing in a day.

While this was also the case in the first lockdown, this is proving more difficult for the older population as we move into the winter months.
