Impact Of COVID-19 On Clare Economy Is Outlined

Clare has been identified as one of the counties most exposed to the economic impact of COVID-19.

A new report by the Ireland’s Regional Assemblies has found that 2,500 businesses, which amounts to over half of all businesses in this county, are trading in the sectors likely to suffer most because of the virus.

These include retailers who are not identified as providing essential services, accommodation and food services, childcare facilities, hairdressers and beauty parlours.
