Two Ennis Gardaí are being hailed as heroes after they gave life-saving care to a nine-day old baby at Ennis Garda Station last week.
Garda Patrick McCormack a recent graduate and Garda Ken Butler came to the assistance of a distraught baby girl who had stopped breathing while with her parents on Abbey Street in the town.

At this week’s meeting of the Joint Policing Committee, Chief Superintendent John Kerin told members the happy outcome left Gardaí elated.
