On Thursday’s Morning Focus Harrison Gardner joined Alan in studio once again to discuss plastering, old stone walls, cement renders and why they fail.
Harrison is a builder, teacher and author of ‘Build Your Own’ as well as being one of the co-founders of Common Knowledge, the non-profit social enterprise based near Ennistymon.
Common Knowledge aims to empower people with the skills, resources and community for a more sustainable life. As part of this, he runs hands-on learning programmes on initiating community projects that span subjects such as building, growing, planning and repair.
