On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Flan Hehir who is the founding member and treasurer of Clare Men’s Shed along with Michael Hennessy who is a musical director. They discussed the upcoming concert that is set to take place on Saturday 15th of April in Dánlann an Chlair. The Ennis Men’s Shed will be the beneficiary of funds raised on the night. Michael spoke about the history of Harmony Bro Male Choir and described the type of music they sing as a choir. He also mentioned the other choirs that will feature on the night including Mayo Male Voice Choir and Steeton Male Voice Choir. Flan made reference to the Ennis Men’s Shed and the role that it plays in the local community. He also looked ahead to future plans for the Men’s Shed.
