On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Principal of St John’s National School in Shannon, Kevin Toomey. Kevin looked ahead to the upcoming bingo night fundraiser which will be held by St John’s National School and Shannon Town United. The event will take place on Thursday 20th April at 7pm at the Oakwood Hotel in Shannon. He mentioned the aim of the fundraiser which is to assist St John’s in developing learning resources for their pupils while helping to facilitate Shannon Town United with the cost of running their club. He highlighted the entertainment on the night along with the monster raffle containing many excellent prizes.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the door on the night for €15.
