We looked at the Munster Fleadh that got underway last Sunday with a wealth of live performance, workshops, competitions and a live gig rig which will rock into action this afternoon.
Fr Gabriel Kinahan and some of his colleagues will be ‘loitering with intent’ over the coming days – but for a very good reason.
He’s a Franciscan Friar from Athlone who will be ministering on the streets of Ennis and raising awareness of the Church’s teachings responding to the climate emergency and the protection of the environment.
Some of his colleagues will even be joining in by playing music outside the Friary later today and tomorrow. They’ll also be celebrating a special mass at noon on Sunday on the theme of caring for creation.
