Clare County Councillors will vote on the Council’s planned works at Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon today.

The local authority is bringing forward a Part 8 planning application before today’s monthly meeting, for a multi-million euro project.

The project involves constructing a new Bridge over the River Inagh, the pedestrianisation of the existing bridge, a new roundabout, and also the demolition of three existing properties.

The Council is recommending that the project be passed, in spite of concerns from some in the North Clare town.

Ennistymon Fianna Fáíl Councillor, Richard Nagle, spoke to Gavin about the meeting live on air.
