Ennistymon Locals Object To Planned ‘Satanic’ Statue

On Monday’s Morning Focus, Clare FM listeners branded a proposed statue of a Púca planned for Ennistymon as ‘demonic’, ‘satanic’, ‘evil’ and ‘bad luck’.

An objection with 50 signatures was lodged to the Council, who commissioned the project, by physical therapist in the town, Ciara Fahy.

Ciara spoke to Gavin Grace about locals’ upset at the artwork. Gavin was also joined by local Fianna Fáil Cllr Shane Talty.
