On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Cormac McCarthy who is the Chairperson of Ennis Tidy Towns. Cormac spoke about Ennis being selected as the Irish representative for the international ‘Communities in Bloom’ 2023 competition, in the ‘International Challenge’ category. He looked ahead to judges from the competition descending on the county town on July 24th to judge the town on a range of criteria. Cormac praised the collective efforts of Ennis Municipal District and the community as a whole. The winner of the competition is set to be announced in late September at a ceremony in Canada.
