On Monday’s Morning Focus, Pat Flynn presented a piece from Clare FM’s Alan Morrissey. Alan was joined by Jackie Garland, grandmother of Kody Meaney. Kody Meaney from Ennis is just shy of being four months old, yet he has been through so much in his extremely short life. He was born with a rare genetic condition called Megacystis Microcolon Intestinal Hypo-peristalsis Syndrome, or MMIHS.
Jackie discussed the tough situation Kody and his family have been enduring since March and also highlighted the progress Kody makes each day.
Jackie started a GoFundMe page for Kody you can find at www.gofundme.com/f/2sfrh-baby-kody and thanked everyone who had donated so far.
