Should We Enforce Mandatory Quarantine?

Yesterday, Taoiseach Mícheál Martin and other EU leaders met online to discuss the EU’s vaccination target, new variants of the virus and the possibility of coordinated lockdowns and vaccine certificates.

The European Union is considering tougher travel restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 variants across the block.

The Commission has said restrictions around travel across the EU should be coordinated, and allow for essential workers to cross borders freely.
