On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan spoke to Eddie Lenihan, who is both an author and storyteller. Eddie is one of Ireland’s last seanchaí and has been recording oral history for the past 50 years, with his tapes covering Gaelic mythology, local superstitions and memories of the Civil War. He discussed his discontent with Irish Constitutions and the lack of interest they have showed in his recordings. As a result, Eddie has decided to gift his recordings to an American University.
