On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Paul Coote who is the Organiser of the Land and Sea Sessions Festival in Doolin and Abe Saor who is a Romanian born Irish living singer and songwriter. Paul described the concept behind the festival which has been recently announced by Doolin Arts with the aim being to promote the local landscape and activities in Doolin. He highlighted the various events that are set to take place with each event carrying a different focus. Abe discussed their musical journey to date as well as mentioning being adopted from Romania as a baby. They also highlighted the meaning behind the name ‘Abe’ and promoted their latest single called ‘Oasis’. The first Land & Sea Session will take place on Saturday, 11th of March, in The Attic at Hotel Doolin.
It will feature an interview with a local surf legend, DJ Kate Brennan Harding.
