On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Brenda Leahy who is a member of the Darkness into Light Committee in Shannon. Brenda discussed the 2023 Darkness into Light walk which is set to take place on Saturday May 6th. The annual fundraiser in aid of Pieta helps to give people the gift of hope to those impacted by self harm and suicide. Brenda called on the people of Shannon and Clare to volunteer to be a member of the committee for the 2023 walk. She highlighted some of aspects involved in organizing the event.
