Cullinan Elected IFA President

Tim Cullinan, a farmer from Tipperary, joined us on the Morning Focus show today as he has won the race this week to replace Joe Healy as IFA president.

Tim says he wants to reunite farmers across the country however, turnout was low in the election, with less than 23,000 of the 70,000 IFA members voting.

Indeed, we’ve heard from listeners on this programme of their concerns around what some see as the lack of representation from the different farming bodies.
