On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan spoke to Mark O’Sullivan who is the Producer of the film ‘God’s Spy’ and Sean Flynn who is the Head of Locations. Mark discussed the background of the film which is based on the story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was a German theologian-turned spy who helped to saved Jewish people during World War II. Sean spoke about County Clare which was used as a location for the film to be shot in. He referred to O’Briensbridge, Kinturk, the Burren and Fanore Beach as locations used in the production and complimented Clare County Council for assisting them to make this all possible. The pair acknowledged other films and TV shows that have been shot in the county and hope for this to continue in the future. ‘God’s Spy’ is set to be released in 2024.
