COP26 Climate Summit

The Taoiseach is among more than one hundred political leaders addressing a major climate change conference in Scotland over the coming days.

Cop26 is being described as one of the most important climate summits ever. It’s hoped a deal can be reached to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prevent the earth from overheating.

As part of his address, Micheál Martin is expected to commit 225 million a year up to 2025 to help poorer countries with climate change
