The Normal People Star’s father was born and raised in Cooraclare and the actor has kindly signed and donated the shorts to the club in their bid to raise €20,000 to update their club facilities.
The Kildare man made such an impression in the shorts that he was even pictured on the cover of GQ magazine wearing them. O’Neill’s saw an increase in sales and Gucci even copied the look.
On Friday’s Morning Focus, Pat Flynn was joined by Joe Considine, Cooraclare GAA Club to speak about the raffle.
