On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Amy Gibbons and Aisling Hammond who are students of Coláiste Muire in Ennis. Kevin Corrigan who is CEO of Ennis 2040 also joined the conversation. Amy and Aisling discussed their recent trip to the Dáil where they met with Ministers, Senators and TD’s to highlight their vision for Ennis over the next 17 years as part of the Ennis 2040 plan. They outlined some of the suggestions they received for Ennis in 2040 while considering sustainable prices, energy sources, accessibility and transport. Kevin believes that the project involving TY students presenting their plans for the county town has exceeded expectation and is determined that the Government will provide the infrastructure for these plans.
