Coach And Bus Operators Look For Representation On Tourism Taskforce

We’ve all had to get used to social distancing… but perhaps for the private coach and bus industry, this poses the most significant problem.

Around Ireland, they undertake 27 million passenger journeys every year; employ 11,500 people; and took two million overseas guests on coach tours last year.

Many within the transport industry, however, feel left behind in recovery efforts – particularly as they did not have a representative on the government’s recently established tourism taskforce.
