On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Cllr Donna McGettigan who is a Sinn Féin Councillor in Shannon along with Diarmuid McMahon from Sherry Fitzgerald McMahon in Ennis. The pair responded to the coalition leaders agreement to end the winter eviction ban on the 31st of March. Donna described her disappointment surrounding the decision and mentioned how saddened she is for families who are now facing eviction at the end of this month. She is calling for a solution to the issue through more social housing being developed. Diarmuid highlighted that the Government must look after the most vulnerable first.
