Today on Morning Focus, Clare Ladies Football Captain, Laurie Ryan, joined us in studio to warn our listeners of the dangers of concussion and why it shouldn’t be undervalued.
For weeks after what seemed like a simple on-field collision, Laurie was experiencing painful headaches, lack of concentration and fatigue.
The Clare football star took nearly two months to get the sign off to play after suffering a concussion in a knock last May.
