On Fridays Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Keith Whelan from Larchill Doora Barefield who lived in Australia for 10 years and has recently been selected for the Irish AFL team. He is also a member of the South Dublin Swans AFL team. Eoin O’Sullivan is the Irish Warriors Head Coach and also joined the conversation. Keith has recently been selected for the Irish AFL team that will travel to Germany later this year to participate in the 2023 European Cup. His 10 year stint down under ignited his love for Australian Rules and inspired him to pursue his interest for the game upon returning to Ireland. Irish Warriors Head Coach Eoin O’Sullivan looked ahead to the European Championship in Germany and highlighted the importance of sponsorship for his team to compete in such competitions.
