For the past year, we’ve been waiting to take back our lives.
However, maybe we should be focused instead on taking back the day.

Niall Minogue is from Corofin. In 2011, he suffered from depression. It was his first time out of work. One thing that helped was writing down 5 times a day that made him smile or laugh. It changed his focus.

Four months ago, Niall’s wife Oonagh had a stroke at 36 years of age. After she came home from hospital, she suffered with anxiety and found it difficult to be positive. She too decided to write down 5 things which made her laugh or smile every day.
