At 4am Irish time on Tuesday May 16th 2017 John Burke became the first man from the Banner County to reach the peak of Mount Everest.
He was climbing in aid of a new Clare based charity Elevate which was set up by John and his Wife, actress Aoibhín Garrihy to help support youth wellness in the county. Aoibhín joined Gavin to discuss the achievement.
