Clare-Based Filmmaker On Her New Film

The 6th of January is Nollaig Na mBan, or Women’s Little Christmas.

It will also mark the release of FISTULA, a powerful new film directed by Dearbhla Glynn, the award-winning Irish filmmaker who lives in Clare.

If you haven’t heard of Fistula, it’s a condition that over 2 million women live with, causing immeasurable suffering and social isolation.

To find out more about it and the film, on Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Dearbhla Glynn, Award-winning Irish filmmaker who lives in Clare.
