On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Stíofan MacGabhann who is the Director and Treasurer of Clare Animal Welfare. Stiofán made reference to the way in which Clare Animal Welfare ensure if a potential foster carer for a dog is the correct match or not. He outlined the process that a potential foster carer must go through in order to welcome a dog to their home. He ranked the various type of foster carers that there are and noted that Clare Animal Welfare will provide education and assistance to any new dog fosterers.
Clare Animal Welfare are holding an open day on Sunday 30th April between 12 and 3pm at the Doora industrial estate, V95 Y899.
