On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live in studio by Stíofan MacGabhann who is the Director and Treasurer of Clare Animal Welfare. Stíofan outlined the ongoing preparation that is taking place ahead of Clare Animal Welfares dog adoption day. He gave details of some of the types of dogs that will be on display on the day and urged anyone who is interested in adopting a dog to attend. He also paid attention to shock collars for dogs and described the potential harm that a shock collar can cause a dog in the long run.
The adoption day is set to take place on Sunday 30th of April between 12 and 3pm at Madrassori, located in Unit 23/24, Doora Industrial Estate, Ballaghboy, Ennis, Co. Clare, V95 Y899.
