Clare and Limerick have been chosen to host the EuroPride Festival in 2028.
EuroPride is a pan-European international event dedicated to LGBT pride, hosted by a different European city each year.

Following a competitive bid process, the coalition from the West of Ireland behind the bid to host the event in three years’ time proved successful.
The event is expected to attract up to 100,000 visitors to the West of Ireland in October 2028.
