Despite their company being located in Cooraclare in West Clare, Chapel Gate Whiskey were denied funding for their company by the Rural Regeneration Scheme on the basis that it doesn’t apply to rural businesses. Louise McGuane of Gate Whiskey joined Gavin to voice her frustration.
