Yesterday, the cabinet signed off on several changes for new arrivals from Ukraine. Under these plans, new arrivals from Ukraine will be provided with accommodation from the state for 90 days.
While in state accommodation, their welfare rate would be reduced from 220 euro to 38.80 per week. It would then revert to the higher rate when they leave state accommodation.
