Beef Plan Movement Prepares For Dáil Protest

This week, farmers from right across the country are travelling to Dublin to protest outside the Dáil.

Members of the Beef Plan Movement are not happy with the Mercosur deal, which would open the European market to Latin American countries.

Irish farmers feel this would undercut their produce at a time when they are already struggling.

Ahead of Wednesday’s protest, Clare chair of the group Joseph Woulfe spoke to Farm Focus (from 12:00).

Also on the podcast this week is Martin Feerick from Teagasc, with advice on grassland weed management (1:11).
