On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Bill Slattery, former Fine Gael councillor for the Ennistymon electoral area, involved with the Lahinch Development Association and a member of joint policing committee. Bill discussed how camping overnight in Lahinch is illegal and highlighted the lack
of parking spaces due to those who have been illegally parking in Lahinch, only 5 of 20 spaces were available. He also outlined the anti-social behaviour that has been taking place in Lahinch and how this could potentially affect local businesses and Lahinch’s tourism offering. He shared some of his own views on how to tackle those issues.
