On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Diane Doherty who is a Research Officer for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland in Limerick. Diane discussed the survey that the Alzheimer Society of Ireland are currently running in order to capture a snapshot of the experiences of people affected by dementia including those living with the condition along with their carers and family members etc. She spoke about the aim of ‘The Experience of Dementia in Ireland Survey 2023’ which is to understand the supports and services required by dementia sufferers and carers. Diane also described the questions within the survey which will take approximately 10 minutes in total to complete.
