On Wednesday’s Morning Focus Alan was joined on the show by ‘Sarah’ who shared her lengthy ordeal of spousal abuse that lasted for many years culminating in her being hospitalized.
‘Sarah’ has experience of needing the refuge and support of Clare Haven. She wanted to tell her story to highlight the great work being done by Clare Haven and to encourage others who may find themselves on the receiving end of domestic abuse, to reach out to Clare Haven and other support services who can help.
