Abbey Theatre Brings Adaptation Of Moliere’s ‘Tartuffe’ To The Lime Street Theatre

On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Geraldine Plunkett who is a former Glenroe actress who is set to star in an adaptation of Moliere’s ‘Tartuffe’. Geraldine discussed the Abbey Theatres latest production which is set to take to the stage of Limerick’s Lime Tree Theatre next week. Geraldine described the storyline of the play which was first performed in 1664. She mentioned the theme of the play along with highlighting the level of humour that is portrayed throughout the duration of the play. Geraldine also previewed her role in the production and the character that she is set to play.
