On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Gary Kiely, Chairman of West Clare Cycling Club in Kilrush.
The 2023 West Clare Challenge will take place this coming weekend.
The event will see cyclists getting the opportunity to cycle along the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way in West Clare.
Cyclists can choose from two routes, with all money raised on the day going to some very worthy causes.
Gary highlighted that the money raised will go towards West Clare Mental Health Association in aid of their Lighthouse Project, and to raise money to develop an off the road track in West Clare.
He also outlined what we can expect to see at the highly anticipated event and spoke about the two cycling routes.
The event will take place this Saturday, the 9th of September and entry will be €40.
