Nancy Callinan
Moananagh, Lahinch, County Clare, 8th of June 2026.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Callinan, who died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was a devoted woman of deep faith whose life was centred on her family, her community, and her church.
A familiar and cherished presence at Mass and parish life throughout the years, she drew strength, comfort, and joy from her faith, which guided her every day.
Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humour.
She had a remarkable gift for making people laugh and putting them at ease.
Her generous spirit, caring nature, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Michael and her dearly loved sons Thomas and Pat.
While their loss was deeply felt throughout her life, she carried their memory always in her heart.
She leaves behind her loving children, Marie, Josephine, Fintan and Anne; her cherished sons-in-law and daughters-in-law; her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
She also leaves behind extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Though her passing leaves a great void in our lives, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace, reunited with those she loved and welcomed into eternal rest by the faith that sustained her throughout her life.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
