With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of our wonderful mother Lucy.
Peacefully on August 6th 2026 in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff at Galway Hospice.
Lucy is together again with her beloved parents Michael and Bridie and her brothers Patsy, Jimmy and Martin.
Forever missed by her children Sean, Peter, Michael, Martin, Caroline, Gerard and Pamela. By her cherished grandchildren Rachel, Jack, Martina, Achilles, Mark, Ryan, Charlie, Aaron, Croídhe, Nathan and Hadashah.
Greatly missed by her sons-in-law Rosemberg and Pierce, daughter-in-law Sinead. Claire and Evie, Jacqueline, her many adored cousins and dear friends.
Dearly missed by her sister Mary, brothers Gerry, Mickey, John, Tommy and Peter, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all her relatives and neighbours.

Lucy will lie in repose at her residence in 31 St. Brendans Court, Athenry Road, Loughrea, Co. Galway (H62 X903) on Sunday evening the 9th of August from 4pm to 7pm.
Funeral cortege will leave her home on Monday morning the 10th of August and travel to St. Colmans Church, Gort for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, Lucy will be laid to rest in Killanena cemetery.
