Joy Shanahan (Nee) Barry
Cill Stuifin, Lahinch
Following a long illness (PSP), the death has occurred of Joy Shanahan, Cill Stuifin, Lahinch, Co Clare and formerly of Blarney and Ballyvolane Co Cork, on 24th April 2025.
Joy was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away in the exceptional care of Milford Hospice, Limerick. Predeceased by her brothers Liam and Noel. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Martin, her three children Rachel (Young), Sinead (Park) and Adrian, brothers John and Donal, sister Ann, daughter in law Gail, sons in law William and Calum and grandchildren Liam, Christopher, Jessica, Juliette, Caitlin, Alex, Elliot and Sam.

Reposing from her residence at Cill Stuifin, School Road, Lahinch (V95 FE09) on Saturday 26th April from 4pm to 6pm. Arriving to the Church of Immaculate Conception Lahinch on Sunday 27th April for requiem mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the new cemetery in Ennistymon. Joys funeral mass may be viewed online on the Ennistymon Parish Clare Facebook page.
