Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Kilcolgan Nursing Home, Kilgolgan, Co. Galway on the 26th August 2026.
Predeceased by her husband Dermot.
Deeply missed by her heartbroken family, children Mary, Edward, Paul and Louise, sons-in-law Dick and Fergus, daughter-in-law Mairead. Grandchildren Peter, Ellen, Owen, Kevin, Liam, Finbarr and Kieran, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Death Notice Joan will repose in Mc Mahon’s funeral home Shannon on Friday 28th August from 6pm to 7:30pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in Ss. John and Paul Church, Shannon on Saturday 29th August at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Illaunamanagh Cemetery.
