A Life long supporter of Clare Hurling and Football and an avid GAA supporter of Galway and all the other counties as well. Beloved husband of E. Gemma (Flanagan) for 53 years and much-loved father of Paschal, Brian, and Catherine. Predeceased by his siblings, Susan, Mary and Micko.
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife and children, son-in-law Nathaniel, his cherished grandchildren Molly and Kevin, brother John (Liscannor), many nieces and nephews, the extended Healy and Flanagan family and friends including his friends of Knights of Columbus, Norwood Irish Music Club, West Roxbury Social Club and Irish Music Club of Greater Boston.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Thursday, 26 May, from 5 p.m. with Removal at 7 p.m. to St. Mary’s Church, The Claddagh. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Jim on Friday, 27 May, at 11 a.m.
