It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our beloved Declan. He died surrounded by family and friends after a short illness; bravely borne.
Declan is deeply missed by his loving wife Mary and his five children, Evelyn, Robert, Kevin, Bryan, Fiona and grandchild Darragh; his brother Paddy and wife Jude, sons-in-law Chris and Luke and daughter-in-law Deirdre; cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nephews and nieces. His extended family, friends, neighbours and former Teagasc colleagues will remember him dearly.
Declan’s family wish to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Milford Care Centre, Galway Clinic and Galway University Hospital, for all the kindness, compassion and attention shown to him during his treatment.
May Declan’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Declan will repose in St. Mary’s Church Kilmurry on Thursday 3rd September from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 4th September at 12noon followed by burial in Kilmurry cemetery.
