Carmel passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on the 11th October 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her father Paschal and her sister Elizabeth (Betty).
Sadly missed by her beloved husband William (Billy) Harnedy, loving mother Gertrude, sisters Marie and Cara, brothers Oliver, John and Fr. Paschal, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Maryann, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements: Reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Ennis, on Tuesday (13th October) from 6 pm until 7.30 pm. Removal thereafter to Ennis Cathedral, arriving at 8 pm for funeral prayers. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (14th October) at 11 am, followed by cremation service at Shannon Crematorium at 1 pm.
Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association.
