Peacefully on the 31st of May, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the wonderful staff of The Galway Hospice.
Wife of Stefan.
Pre-deceased by her beloved father Pat O’ Loughlin.
Forever loved by her husband Stefan and cherished and adored by her son James.
Sadly missed by her mother Annick (Corofin) and by her brothers & sisters.
Fondly remembered by her parent’s in-law Sean and Mary Heffernan (Bruree, Co. Limerick), sister-in-law Rachel, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, by the extended Heffernan and O’Loughlin families, neighbours and many wonderful friends.

Reposing at St. Colman’s Church, Tierneevin, Gort (H91 K5W0), on Sunday the 4th of June from 4pm until 6pm.
The Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Joseph’s Church, Kilnaboy, Co. Clare, (V95 X409) on Monday the 5th of June for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.
Following the mass Carine will be laid to rest in Kilmacduagh Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Carine’s memory to the Gort Cancer Support Centre or to the Galway Hospice Foundation.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the Galway Hospice for the care and compassion given to Carine in her final days and also to the wonderful people at Gort Cancer Support for all their kindness and care. Finally, a special word of thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends for all they have done to help and support us.
